Robert Pichler, Head of the Department for Financial Management, visited the campus of the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB) in November.

On his agenda were a guest lecture on “The European National Debt Crisis“ and talks with University officials including the Provost, the Dean of the Business School and Professors from several departments who showed great interest in a cooperation. The outcome is quite promising: In July 2012, UTB will organize a Summer Session in “Strategic Management” for our Master & MBA Students.

Furthermore, a double-degree agreement was discussed that will offer our prospective Master students to earn an MBA degree from UTB in addition to their MA degree at FHWien. Besides the official program there was also time to meet current outgoing students (Magdalena Greul and Sebastian Pfister) and future FHWien incoming Andres Orduna, who will be in Vienna in the spring term.
