Qualifications & Skills

The Content Production and Digital Media Management Bachelor’s Degree Programme provides students with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Familiarity with a variety of presentation techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of all areas of the media and communications industry
  • Basic and contextual knowledge of socially relevant topics
  • Knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of journalism’s role in the dissemination of news and information
  • Specialist knowledge and general understanding in the areas of politics, culture, society, etc.
  • Familiarity with production processes in media and with TV and radio equipment, editing software, and editorial software
  • Ability to adapt content for multimedia dissemination (print, online, audio and audio-visual media) in various genres and for all media types, as well as the editorial design of media products
  • Practical business knowledge for the media and communications industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of the practical usages of labour, commercial, media and copyright law.
  • Overview of the business application systems market
  • Excellent working knowledge of the main production systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of the most important theories and models of journalism and communication studies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of academic research in terms of content and form
