MSc Industrial and Communications Psychology

The practice-based distance learning degree program MSc Industrial and Communications Psychology is for people with experience in the area of communication and industrial psychology. They will have comprehensive job experience, as well as experience working as a (project) manager, while working with people in a business or social context or in the area of communication.

Students expand upon their prior skills and develop an in-depth understanding of theoretical, practice-relevant content and methods with a focus on industrial or communications psychology.

Prior knowledge and skills will be supplemented by an academically sound foundation and psychological and communicative skills will be further developed. Prior knowledge and skills will be practiced and further developed and new points of view gained due to the scientific basis of the MSc.

The degree program in Industrial and Communications Psychology is carried out by Akademischen Lehrinstitut für Psychologie in Lübeck together with FHWien der WKW and is a 100% distance learning degree program, making it easy to study while working.  You must attend the Master's examination at FHWien der WKW at the end of the 4th semester.

According to section 4 of the psychology law, (Psychologengesetz) only persons who have completed a degree in psychology may call themselves a psychologist. The successful completion of the Master’s degree program “MSc Industrial and Communications Psychology” does not allow the holder to call themselves a “psychologist”. Upon completion of your degree program you have the right to use the internationally recognized title of “Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial and Communications Psychology”.
